Are
you ready to save a life?
Are you ready in case
of an emergency? What about you’re family, friends or your co-workers?
Would any of you know what to do if someone suffered a cardiac emergency?
Would you be prepared if the unthinkable were to happen to someone you
know or love? Many of you would say no.
Cardiovascular disease
is the single greatest cause of death in the United States. Every year
more than 480,000 adult Americans die of a heart attack or its complication.
About half of these deaths (250,000) result from sudden cardiac arrest,
a complication of heart attack. Ventricular fibrillation (a chaotic electrical
heart rhythm that does not circulate blood) is the most common cause of
cardiac arrest and can only be corrected by an electrical defibrillation
shock.
The CPR Institute
is here to help. We will teach you how to handle an emergency and help
you to perform to the best of your ability, when it counts the most. We
can teach you life saving skills like CPR, First Aid, how to help someone
who is choking, and with more being publicly available, how to use an
AED (Automatic External Defibrillator).
We have taught groups
for adoptive and foster parents, construction personnel, school staff
and bus drivers, to major corporation response teams, and everything in
between. No class is too small or large for us. We believe in getting
as many people as we can to be able to save a life.
Nothing is more satisfying to us than to hear a student’s story
of how a class we taught helped them save a loved one or co-worker.
